Ash Strowger is a transgender singer songwriter and activist from the middle of nowhere in suffolk. Ash writes in the area which he discribes as where pop, rock and folk meet if you can imagine that without it sounding like a car crash. he promises it sounds better in real life.

Ash is an acomplished musician with grade 8's in flute and saxophone, as well as a diploma in music theory.  and performance credits including Saffron hall, Sturmer hall, perform festival, English Touring opera, holocaust memorial day as well as being winner of the woodwind challenge cup in the under 18's saffron walden music competition. Ash also has a keen interest in musicals and has played as a part of bands for comunity productions of Les Miserables and Billy Elliot.

Ash has allways been involved in music he thinks it stems from being put to bed to the scissor sisters as a child. combining this with his own love of bands such as Grace petrie and linkin park has quickly established a unique identity. He wrote his first song aged nine about how much he wanted a horse which he is still waiting for to this day. When he came out as transgender aged 13 he was convinced his career was over due to the cripling dysphoria that came while singing, but after a long up hill battle of self acceptance he has now fully reclaimed his identity writing extensively about his journey in his debut album PRIDE.
